As you may know, the world of combat sports is a passion for me and I’ve been involved in it for more than 10 years. I worked my heart and soul to popularize the sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Canada and was very proud to build one of the most successful promotion in the history of MMA. I was able to produce 35 professional events that have all been televised on national television and that took place in prestigious venues like the Montreal’s Bell Centre. It was also with great pride that I worked on the development and evolution of the careers of athletes such as Georges St-Pierre, Patrick Cote, David Loiseau, Mark Hominick, Sam Stout and many more.
After 10 years of working tirelessly on the sport of MMA, I realized that my real mission was to give the fans, the advertisers and the television networks what they really wanted. A sport that would feature the greatest features of most martial arts while offering non-stop action and spectacular contests. Even though the sport of MMA has become extremely popular, a vast majority of mainstream fans are still not too excited by it; the main reason being the grappling aspect of the sport where fighters could spend endless minutes on the ground trying to figure out a strategy to overcome their opponent with grappling techniques. Boxing fans who are accustomed to knock-outs and striking are also staying away from MMA because of the ground work involved in the sport.
The new sport of PROFESSIONAL STAND-UP FIGHTING is the answer for combat sports fans who are looking for non-stop action featuring the best athletes in the world’s most exciting stand-up sports and martial arts. I am very proud to bring you a sport that is a mix between MUAY THAI, KICKBOXING, BOXING and SANSHOU. I’ve worked very hard on this project for that last couple of years and I have to admit that this was in the back of my main for many, many years. While there have been bumps on the road, I was able to come up with rules that have been approved by one of the most prestigious athletic commissions in the world, the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board and its great representatives Mr. Nick Lembo and Mr. Aaron Davis. This is only the beginning for our new sport and the vision is global as these events will be broadcasted around the world.
I feel once again like a pioneer for a new sport and will put all my energy in making this the biggest, greatest and most popular combat sport in the world.
